Another month, another book review. I am continuing on with the Embassy Row series and today I have a review of the second book. This book was very interesting and reignited my love for this trilogy.
Inside every secret, there's a world of trouble. Get ready for the second book in this new series of global proportions--from master of intrigue, New York Times bestselling author Ally Carter.
Grace's past has come back to hunt her . . . and if she doesn't stop it, Grace isn't the only one who will get hurt. Because on Embassy Row, the countries of the world stand like dominoes, and one wrong move can make them all fall down.
The twists get twistier and the turns get even more shocking in the second thrilling instalment of Embassy Row.
This sequel begins a week after the events in the first novel. Naturally, Grace's life won't be going back to normal after the discoveries made in All Fall Down. Grace becomes the centre of a brief love triangle, which sparks a fist fight and her friend being accused of her brothers friend's murder.
Since finding the secret passages behind the city, Grace is certain her freind Alexei has been frames and sets about trying to prove it. While in search of the truth, she and her friends stumble upon more than they were expecting.
The mystery, and past-pace of the novel makes the twists and turns even more exciting. Making the story end in a bigger bombshell and a cliffhanger.
Overall this novel was the perfect sequel and I enjoyed it a lot more than the first book, so don't let it put you off.
