After the explosion that followed the first book in this series Girl Online, I knew that even though I was disappointed with the novel I had to buy the sequel. It's kind of a thing with me that if I buy a book, and it's a series, I'll have to get the rest and either love it as I go through them or hope that they get better.
The sequel to the number-one bestseller Girl Online. Penny joins her rock-star boyfriend, Noah, on his European music tour. Penny's bags are packed.
When Noah invites Penny on his European music tour, she can't wait to spend time with her rock-god-tastic boyfriend.
But, between Noah's jam-packed schedule, less-than-welcoming bandmates and threatening messages from jealous fans, Penny wonders whether she's really cut out for life on tour. She can't help but miss her family, her best friend Elliot . . . and her blog, Girl Online.
Can Penny learn to balance life and love on the road, or will she lose everything in pursuit of the perfect summer?
This was so much better than Girl Online. No offence to Zoe but the first one read as if it was for a child, this one however had more of a teenage, YA feel to it and it was brilliant. This story had so much emotion and issues going on in it that even if it was for the younger age category you didn't feel it - as a 23yr old this was good. (Not that I don't like children's books
This book definitely shows the growing relationship between Noah and Penny and I love the fact she got to go on tour. Reading about life behind tour and the complications it can bring were brilliant. I have to say I truly loved this book, a lot more than the first one.
Penny become a woman in this story, with an unusual friendship, a rescue mission and landing her dream guy she's definitely living a life anyone would be envious of. Penny makes it through the whirlwind summer and comes out better than before.
I'm keeping this short and sweet because that's just what this book was.
