It has taken me a very long time to get this review up, because I publish so far in advance I feel like I am doing an injustice to the authors but, I always add them to Amazon and Goodreads after they go live. However, I know Holly won't mind because as with any author, as long as the reader enjoyed the book they are happy. And who doesn't love a book about perfect proposals - it's every woman's dream.
‘Is there really such a thing as a perfect proposal?
Over the next hundred days I intend to find out. I will find one hundred ways to propose to our Chief Proposer Suzie McKenzie and post the results here for your enjoyment. One thing’s for sure, not one of my proposals will be on top of the Eiffel Tower with a dozen red roses.’
Best friends Suzie and Harry are partners in romance. That is, they run the.PerfectProposal.com, coming to the aid of would-be grooms to create the ultimate marriage proposal.
But when Harry decides to catapult the business into the big leagues with a PR stunt all Suzie can see is a hundred days of heartbreak stretching ahead of her. But however exotic the location, or breath-takingly romantic the setting, Suzie has to keep remembering that ‘Marry Me?’ is the one question she can’t say yes to.
This business proposal should come with one hundred broken heart warnings… One hundred proposals, one hundred chances to say yes.
How breathtaking is the book cover? I absolutely adore it. I know I shouldn't but I am a huge book cover judger, if the cover doesn't pull me in I don't even get to the blurb. However the beautiful scene and colours grabbed my attention and got me in. The blurb forced me to read the book. I needed to know how this story panned out and I was not disappointed.
Holly's writing style effortlessly grabs you into the story and makes the characters your best friends. We start getting to know Suzie and Harry, who are best friends, and partners in romance. Running a website about perfect proposals was not something Suzie wanted, but by the end of it she gets the proposal she's always wanted. There are moments you'll feel the heartbreak Suzie goes through as she's asked the only question she can't say yes too, you'll laugh and cry at everything that happens.
Harry, is basically every woman's dream, hot to trot and in touch with his feminine side enough that romance is his middle name. He will make you swoon and Holly makes you fall in love with him just like Suzie did.
Overall this book will take you on an emotion rollercoaster that feels so read you'll forget you're even reading the book! I highly recommend this book to anyone who either wants a good book to read or wants to fall in love with love again.
