Dread. That is all I feel when I read this e-mail. Poetry is not something I do. The last time I wrote poetry (for all my UK readers out there) I was in year 5 and it got published in Hullabaloo. The only bit I can remember is The black horse is, thunder across he sky, and there was a verse about a white horse being lightening. I thought it was epic for my age, but there is no way I could write anything like that now!
During these last two days, we are going to spice things up by delving into the world of poetry. I know what you're thinking. I can't write poetry. How is this supposed to help me? I promise that all types of writing enrich will your skills as a novelist. So why not give poetry a shot?

Money can ruin lives,
Greed consumes the best of us,
Time to stop this life.
Okay I know what was a Haiku but it still is a poem. I was totally inspired by a video my boyfriend showed me where a guy was walking around offering free money to those who needed it. A man in a suit with an expensive watch on took most of the front of this guys jacket, a woman who took it because she had a nail appointment and a homeless guy who took two dollars so he could grab some food. It just shows us how greedy we all have become.
