I like to dabble in a few genres. I've got ideas for The second book in The Collective series, a murder mystery novel, about 4 different romance novels and a fantasy story. Finding the time to actually plot and write them hasn't been my forte as you probably know. If not find me on twitter cause I talk about it a lot! I might even write a post on it too!
Write a short science fiction scene.
Science fiction often relates very high-intelligence concepts in a manner that everyday people can understand. Today, practice speaking to the common reader while explaining a concept that requires unusual learning. Remember, your work should always be clear enough for 99% of your readers to understand.
Holding it in my hands was surreal. I had been after this for months and for it land it my lap just when I was beginning to give up hope was incredible. Although it wasn't what I expected it definitely exceeded every one that I had. Staring at it's entirety only made my decision to purchase it more acceptable, and after a few more minutes of admiration I placed it on my head.
I'm totally not sure how to write this, Sci-Fi is not something I have ever been interested in writing, although I do love the genre.
To begin with it did nothing. I was staring at my desk, exactly as I had been before I placed the head set on. Nothing was exactly what was running threw my mind. I needed to start with something simple so that I didn't get into any trouble. Some simple... I thought of the first book I ever read, and low and behold it appeared in front of me.
Totally not feeling this genre. I can't write something I am not feeling, so like the child imagination section I'm going to have to skip this. Let me know if you've written anything in this genre, or done this prompt! I love reading it!
