Day ten. How I have managed to keep up this far I do not know. Seeing as I wrote most of these posts in October... Yeah have I ever mentioned I schedule my posts? I am finding this easier to do though. Writing is a passion and a need, although descriptions were never my forte, much like child point of view. Let's go;
Write about a CHARACTER'S APPEARANCE through the perspective of a vain man.
What a character thinks about other people can say a lot about who they are. Practice revealing the personality of your point of view character through their description of another character. What does the vain man notice about the other character that reveals his own nature?
His black cargo pants and steel toe-capped boots were standing out among the khaki colours of their other colleagues. Black in Scott's eyes was a colour associated with trouble and the mischievous look in his eyes was only adding fuel to Scotts fire. Definitely trouble. As he continued on his first day tour which was aided by the managers firm hand to the back and a push forward.
The morning was spent meeting the rest of the workplace and being shown around before ending up in the canteen. Inside he was introduced to the colleagues he was to be spending his days with and then finally took a seat next to Paul. He practically killed him with the look he was given.
"Oh just ignore him, he only sits with us because he's not allowed on any other table," said Zach slapping Scotts back as he walked around the end of the table and sat opposite. "He doesn't ever talk to anyone, he hates all of us."
Keeping it short
I'm not really sure where I could have gone with this. Possibly more in depth and gone on to explain the work he is doing before Scott makes a mistake and Paul loathes him even more? What did you write for day ten? Let me know in the comments!
